AdoptAFamily1 wreathDay Air Credit Union is sponsoring Homefull’s “Adopt A Family” campaign this year!

Day Air Credit Union is proud to sponsor Homefull’s “Adopt A Family” campaign this year by adopting 10 families. Our associates are donating their own time and money to give back to the community. Homefull works to end homelessness by providing housing, services, advocacy and education. They offer a comprehensive continuum of care and services, from homelessness prevention to permanent housing. They are part of a network of services in Montgomery County designed to help people help themselves. Learn more here: http://www.homefull.org/

Day Air Credit Union has had a relationship with Homefull over the past two years, providing financial literacy courses to the clients they serve. It has been extremely rewarding to be a part of our community members journey to re-build their lives and take control of their financial well-being.

Homefull is just one of the many organizations that Day Air works with in the community.  In 2014 alone, we have had the pleasure of working with over 40 organizations and have touched the lives of over 1,700 youth and 500 adults. Our dedication of providing information, tips and actions to improve our community members’ confidence and control of their financial picture is aligned with the Day Air Credit Union mission and values:

Day Air Credit Union exists to improve our members’ financial well-being.

In addition to providing financial literacy courses, our credit union supports many community endeavors. We sponsored and supported events such as:

  • C.A.A.N.E. Senior Expo on Courthouse Square
  • Holiday At Home Parade and Festival in Kettering
  • UpDayton Open Dayton Business Competition
  • Sinclair Leadership Development Conference
  • BBB and Girl Scouts Smart Choices in Business and Money event
  • Montgomery County Re-entry Programs
  • VA Patriot Freedom Festival
  • And so many more

We hope that as you celebrate this holiday season you too are touched with the giving spirit of community.
